Coimbatore, May 13, 2017: The Institute of Liver Disease and Transplantation, Gleneagles Global Health City, in association with Coimbatore Diabetes Foundation, City Centre, inaugurated the Centre for Liver Disease & Transplantation at R S Puram, Coimbatore for the management of liver diseases. On behalf of The Liver Disease & Transplantation unit this center was inaugurated by Dr. Dinesh Jothimani, Senior Consultant- Hepatologist & Liver Transplantation Physician, Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai and Dr. V. Sekar, Chief Consultant Diabetologist & Managing Director, Coimbatore Diabetes Foundation Hospital Pvt Ltd
The idea of this collaboration is to provide the best clinical care for patients suffering from liver diseases and related ailments. Patients with liver diseases like jaundice, hepatitis, chronic liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, fatty liver, liver cirrhosis, alcohol related liver issues, Hepatitis B infection, Hepatitis C infection, liver cancers, Wilson disease, hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangio carcinoma, metabolic liver disease, hepatoblastoma and other rare liver disorders will be dealt with here.
