Neem tree, which faced the threat of axe saved, replanted


Thanks to a group of Green volunteers and NGOs, a mighty neem tree which faced the threat of axe was saved and replanted in a park nearby.



The neem tree in G.V. Residency area was to be axed as it proved a hindrance to the construction work going on there. The volunteers of Osai , who came to know about it suggested that it be transplanted to a nearby park.



Following which in the presence of RDO Mathuranthagi,  Osai  and Rock volunteers carried out the transplantation work in a nearby park, due to which an age- old neem tree was saved.
