Coimbatore: A special court for narcotic cases in Coimbatore has sentenced a man to 12 years rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh for smuggling cannabis in the city.

The Coimbatore Narcotic Control Division police received credible information that cannabis was being smuggled on Bharath State Bank Road in the city limits.
