The sole aim to create awareness among the devotees to eradicate the use of plastic bags, and start using paper and cloth bags.

All of us are aware the plastics are non-biodegradable and poisonous when ingested by man and animals. Our volunteers distribute paper bags and collect plastic bags, from the devotees which they tend to be carrying.

Vellingiri Hills is gifted with Nature's bounty and it gives precious waters through the streams and rivers.  It is our responsibility to save the flora and fauna of the hills and keep the pristine environment a plastic free zone.

Water conservation could be achieved by avoiding plastics as it clogs  up drains and other water courses preventing the free flow of a streams and rivers .  It is our bounden duty to conserve Mother Nature for future generations and the one sure fire way to do is saying no to plastics for ever.
