Ward 27 Councilor Ambika Dhanapal Inspects Sanitation Works and Launches Fever Camp in Peelamedu, Coimbatore

Councilor Ambika Dhanapal of Ward 27 in Coimbatore inspected various sanitation works and inaugurated a special fever camp in Peelamedu on October 16. She emphasized thorough cleaning of drains and proper garbage collection.


Coimbatore: Ward 27 Councilor Ambika Dhanapal conducted a series of inspections and inaugurated a special fever camp in Peelamedu area on Monday (Oct. 16). The councilor visited multiple locations to oversee sanitation works and ensure proper cleanliness in her ward.



At NGR Street in ESI Compound, Peelamedu, Ambika Dhanapal inspected the ongoing drain cleaning work. She instructed the sanitation workers to ensure thorough cleaning of the entire drainage system.



The councilor then proceeded to Poosari Ramasamy Street in Peelamedu, where she examined another drain cleaning operation. She directed the workers to clean the drains completely and clear the vegetation along the roadside.



In Giri Amman Temple Street, Peelamedu, Ambika Dhanapal checked the daily garbage collection process.



She verified if the push carts were arriving regularly to collect waste and instructed the sanitation staff to ensure comprehensive garbage collection and cleaning of roadside litter.



Later in the day, the councilor inaugurated a special fever camp organized by the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation's Urban Primary Health Center. The camp was held at Kurumbar Street in Peelamedu, Ward 27.



The inauguration of the fever camp was attended by a doctor, sanitation workers, and local residents. This initiative aims to address health concerns and provide medical assistance to the community during the ongoing fever season.

Through these inspections and the launch of the health camp, Councilor Ambika Dhanapal demonstrated her commitment to improving sanitation and healthcare services in Ward 27 of Coimbatore Municipal Corporation.
