MLA Vanathi Srinivasan Praises Railway Service, Criticizes DMK Government

Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan praised the railway department for providing quality service without increasing fares. She also criticized the DMK government's monsoon preparedness and discussed various political issues.

Coimbatore: Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan, after inaugurating a private kindergarten school in Vadavalli area, met with reporters and shared her views on various topics.

Expressing satisfaction over the opening of educational institutions in line with the new education policy, Vanathi Srinivasan emphasized the need for schools that provide a natural environment for learning new skills.

Commenting on the centenary celebrations of the RSS, the BJP's ideological parent organization, Vanathi Srinivasan mentioned that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, in his Vijayadashami speech in Nagpur, called for creating an environment where everyone can access temples, water bodies, and burial grounds in every village without discrimination.

Srinivasan praised the BJP for changing the political landscape post-independence, breaking the notion that only Congress could provide stable governance. She credited the RSS's ideology of "unity in diversity" for supporting this change.

Criticizing the ruling DMK, Srinivasan alleged that it has become a family-run party, while the BJP, in association with its parent organization, takes pride in fully embracing democracy.

Regarding the recent technical issue with a Trichy-Sharjah flight, Srinivasan expressed relief that all passengers were safe and thanked those involved in handling the situation.

Addressing the Tiruvallur Kaverapettai train accident, she stated that the central government is taking serious steps to improve safety measures in railways. Srinivasan praised the railway department for providing quality service to common passengers without increasing fares and expressed confidence in the central government's cautious approach to accidents.

The MLA criticized the state government's monsoon preparedness, claiming that despite spending crores of rupees, proper arrangements were not made. She accused the current government of being insensitive to people's sufferings.

Regarding Vijay's Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadashami greetings, Srinivasan noted that while it's customary for political parties to extend festival wishes, DMK leader and Chief Minister Stalin has been avoiding greetings for Hindu festivals. She emphasized that a state's Chief Minister should be inclusive of all people and questioned why there should be an issue in extending greetings.

Srinivasan also addressed the issue of death threats against Hindu organization members, stating that their movements have faced the most casualties for ideological reasons in Tamil Nadu. She called for proper police vigilance when leaders face threats.
