Coimbatore Ward 86 Councilor E. Ahmed Kabir Inspects Sanitation Work

Councilor E. Ahmed Kabir MC of Makkal Needhi Maiam party inspected the damage caused by a collapsed compound wall of a sewage treatment plant in Ward 86, Coimbatore on October 11.


Coimbatore: E. Ahmed Kabir MC, the Makkal Needhi Maiam party councilor for Ward 86 of Coimbatore Municipal Corporation, conducted an on-site inspection today (Oct. 11) to assess the damage caused by the collapse of a compound wall at the sewage treatment plant in Reshma Garden area.



During his visit, Councilor Kabir summoned municipal officials to the site.



He instructed them to expedite the removal of stagnant water and clear fallen trees. Additionally, he emphasized the need for swift action in repairing the affected houses in the vicinity.

The councilor's prompt response to the situation demonstrates the local administration's commitment to addressing infrastructure-related issues in the ward. The collapse of the sewage treatment plant's compound wall had raised concerns among residents about potential health and safety hazards.



This incident highlights the importance of regular maintenance and monitoring of municipal infrastructure to prevent such unforeseen accidents.
