Anti-NEET protest enters 19th day.


The anti-NEET protests, which is being spearheaded by the medicos continued unabated for the 19th day. The student protestors, who have been fighting for the cancellation of NEET, today staged a human-chain protest.



Arguing that National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET) for undergraduate medical admission would lead to rural students losing their educational opportunities, the agitating students like their brethren all over Tamilnadu bunked classes and continued with their protesting mode.



They were joined in the protest by the Government doctors, who are demanding to reintroduce the system of add-on marks, for rural service while they apply for the  Post-Graduate medical courses.
