DMK Youth Wing Secretary Jayakumar appointed as Mettupalayam Constituency Observer

DMK President M.K. Stalin appoints Jayakumar, Tiruppur South District Youth Wing Secretary, as observer for Mettupalayam constituency on October 8. He will oversee election-related tasks including booth committee formation and voter list verification.

Coimbatore: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has appointed Jayakumar, the Tiruppur South District Youth Wing Secretary, as the observer for the Mettupalayam Assembly constituency. This appointment, effective from October 8, comes as part of a broader initiative by DMK President M.K. Stalin to strengthen the party's electoral preparation across Tamil Nadu.

In line with Stalin's directive, the DMK has been appointing constituency observers for all 234 assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu. These observers are tasked with overseeing crucial election-related activities, including the formation of booth committees, verification of voter lists, and voter enrollment drives.

Jayakumar's appointment as the Mettupalayam constituency observer underscores the DMK's focus on grassroots-level organization and voter outreach. As an observer, he will play a pivotal role in coordinating the party's electoral strategies and ensuring effective implementation of various party initiatives in the constituency.

The move is seen as part of the DMK's broader strategy to strengthen its organizational structure and improve its electoral prospects in future elections. By appointing dedicated observers for each constituency, the party aims to enhance its connect with the voters and address local issues more effectively.
