Bharathiar University clarifies stance on recent allegations

In a recent press release, the Public Relations Officer of Bharathiar University clarified that the University has not been violating any norms or regulations. The articles that have been circulating through newspapers subjecting the university to disrepute are only allegations.

A special syndicate meeting was earlier convened in the presence of all members excepting one.The Vice chancellor and Registrar, Bharthiar University, were present as well. After preceding formalities, the syndicate authorized the Vice chancellor to issue appointment orders immediately as the second semester began on 1st December. The appointment orders were signed by the Registrar Dr.P.S.Mohan as per the direction of the syndicate. The rules and regulations were adhered to in the best possible way.

Similarly, with regard to the time limit given to M. Saravanakumar to join the university as Director of BSMED, the syndicate permitted him to join the institution before 14th April 2017. The syndicate also immediately communicated this decision to Mr. Saravanakumar. However, the university is aware that the person in concern has filed a case with the honorable High Court of Chennai.

The University has been adhering to the rules and regulation to the most of its knowledge.
