Second Phase Yagna Performed at Marudhamalai Subramaniya Swamy Temple in Masakavundan Chettipalayam

The second phase of the yagna was conducted at Marudhamalai Subramaniya Swamy Temple in Masakavundan Chettipalayam, Annur Taluk, Coimbatore District, as part of the ongoing Kumbabhishekam celebrations scheduled for September 15.


Coimbatore: The Marudhamalai Subramaniya Swamy Temple in Masakavundan Chettipalayam, Annur Taluk, Coimbatore District, is currently celebrating its Kumbabhishekam festival. As part of the ongoing celebrations, the second phase of the yagna was performed today (Sept. 13) at noon.

The Kumbabhishekam ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 15. In preparation for this auspicious event, various special yagnas and rituals are being conducted at the temple premises.



Today's yagna saw a large gathering of devotees and members of the public from surrounding areas, who participated in the ceremony and offered their prayers. The event was marked by a spiritual atmosphere as the faithful joined in the rituals.

The temple authorities have announced that more special yagnas will be performed in the coming days leading up to the main Kumbabhishekam event. These rituals are believed to purify the temple and invoke divine blessings for the successful completion of the Kumbabhishekam.
