Speaking on this, Sundaram, District Secretary of CPI said, 'In the recent days, incidents indicating imposition of Hindi Language in Tamil Nadu is very evident and the central government is keen in pushing Hindi over the Tamil language. Like how it is been implemented in the state of Kerala, Tamil should be made compulsory in all Schools in Tamil Nadu, starting from preparatory to Std 10. However, we have planned to host a series of serious protests across Tamil Nadu, 'an Anti-Hindi Movement', again.
The protest will start from Coimbatore on May 6th and will then start in rest of Tamil Nadu', he said.
