Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore has announced a one-day training program on confectionery making, scheduled for September 13, 2024. This initiative comes in response to the growing popularity of chocolates and sweets among consumers, owing to their appealing taste and easy availability.

The training program is designed to benefit small-scale entrepreneurs looking to augment their income. Participants will receive hands-on technical training in preparing various types of confectioneries using simple methods. The course will cover the production of chocolates, peanut candies, and different varieties of sugar candies.
