Railways recruitment, 2017, being conducted for 606 vacancies


Railway Recruitment, 2017, is being conducted for 606 vacancies including the posts of train operator and maintainer. Metro Link Express at Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad will be the recruiter. Jobs are available throughout India. The recruitment process is inclusive of an online examination and an interview.

Educational qualification required:

1. Station Controller / Train Operator - Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Computer/Electronic engineering from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
2. Customer Relations Assistant - Science Graduate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics discipline from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
3. Junior Engineer - Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Civil engineering from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
4. Maintainer - SSLC pass with ITI (Two Years) in Fitter / Electrician / Electronics from a Government Recognized University / Institute.



Application Fee details: 
1. General / Un-Reserved (including Ex-servicemen) candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.600/- (inclusive of bank charges plus service tax).
2. SEBC/OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.300/- (inclusive of bank charges plus service tax.
3. SC/ST candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.150/- (inclusive of bank charges plus service tax).

The last date for the submission of the online application is the 30th of April. The written examination will be held in June or July.
