Corporation Commissioner, Dr.K.Vijayakarthikeyan, today conducted an inspection at the 88th ward (South zone) in Kuniyamuthur. During his visit, he ensured that the trash that was collected in the morning by sanitary workers was being segregated into recyclable and non-recyclable wastes.
During the inspection, City Welfare Officer, Santhosh Kumar, and other officials from the Corporation were present. The team also reviewed on the on-going building construction for the Health department carried at a cost of Rs. 10 lakhs.
A budget of Rs. 5 lakhs has been allocated to restore and maintain the open well at Cholan Nagar of 88th Ward, as a part of the inspection the Open Well site was also inspected and Commissioner interacted with the officials on the workflow. The maintenance of the corporation park and other allied works pertaining to the Corporation were reviewed too during the visit.
