About 30 lawyers held a demonstration today, at the east entrance of the Coimbatore court which is in close proximity to Government Arts College, Racecourse.
This demonstration was held in support of the 30 lawyers who had earlier staged protests stating their demands; however, a case was filed on them.

Coimbatore district court’s head advocate said that, “The requests of the lawyers who had earlier held a protest had fallen on deaf years. Also, the case that was filed had resulted in 25 lawyers being prohibited from practising their profession. In the future such atrocious decisions must not be made and hence the fraternity of lawyers is raising their voice. We hope to find a solution to this problem as soon as possible.”
