Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati conducted a comprehensive field inspection in Kinathukadavu taluk on Friday, as part of the Tamil Nadu government's new initiative 'Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril' (Seeking You in Your Village).
The scheme, announced by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, aims to bring the government machinery to the grassroots level to address people's grievances promptly. As per the program guidelines, District Collectors are required to stay in a taluk for one day each month to carry out field inspections in villages.
Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati began his visit by attending an officials' review meeting at the Kinathukadavu Panchayat Union office. Following this, he inspected several facilities in the area, including the Agricultural Extension Center, the newly constructed but unopened Taluk Office, the Copra Coconut Procurement Center, and an Anganwadi center, paying particular attention to its children's facilities and toilets.
The District Collector is scheduled to continue his inspection throughout the day, covering various parts of Kinathukadavu taluk. This initiative is expected to bring about faster resolution of local issues and improve the efficiency of government services at the grassroots level.
