The residents of Bharathi Park, Saibaba Colony have been repeatedly highlighting their plight of irregular water supply in their ward.
'It's over 15 days since the Corporation has supplied drinking water to our area. It was said that the water will be supplied today. Shockingly, the water supply is unimaginably scanty, barely we could fill a pot of water. Water is actually dripping from the pipelines. Due to this unreliable water supply schedule, a majority of the residents in Bharathi Park area are forced to buy water for their daily use. Despite escalating the issue at the ward level, no action has been initiated', said Manisha, a resident of Bharathi Park.
'Water every 12 days, is what was promised by the Corporation but today is the 16th day and we are yet to receive water. Recently, it was said that water will be disbursed very six days instead of 12, we doubt if the Officials had actually meant 16 days and not six days', said yet another resident of Bharathi Park.
