AIADMK held a party meeting in Coimbatore's outskirts, distributing membership cards. MLA PRG Arunkumar attended both the meeting and a temple festival in Appanaickenpalayam after 18 years.
Coimbatore: The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) organized a party executives' consultation meeting today, August 19, in various parts of Coimbatore's outskirts.
The meeting was held as per the directives of AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami and under the guidance of former minister S.P. Velumani, the party's district secretary for Coimbatore South Outer.

The meeting took place in areas including Anaikatti and Pannimadai, which fall under the Veerapandi Panchayat No. 24 in the Western Union of Periyanaickenpalayam, Kavundampalayam Assembly Constituency, North Outer District of Coimbatore. PRG Arunkumar, the MLA of Kavundampalayam constituency, participated in the event and distributed membership cards to party members.

In a separate event, the Thirukkuda Nanneerattu festival is currently being held at the Sri Mariamman Temple in Appanaickenpalayam, near Thudiyalur, after a gap of 18 years.
