Power Outage Announced for Poolavadi Area Tomorrow

Udumalpet Electricity Board announces power cut in Poolavadi and surrounding areas on Monday (19-8-24) from 9 AM to 4 PM due to monthly maintenance work at Poolavadi sub-station.


Coimbatore: The Udumalpet Electricity Board has announced a scheduled power outage for Monday (19-8-24) in the Poolavadi area and its surrounding localities. The power cut is necessitated by monthly maintenance works to be carried out at the Poolavadi sub-station near Udumalpet in Tiruppur district.

According to the announcement, electricity supply will be suspended from 9 AM to 4 PM in the following areas: Poolavadi, Bomma Nayakkanpatti, Kallipalayam, Periyapatti, Kallapalayam, Kuppampalayam, A. Ammapatti, Thottiyinthurai, Manur Palayam, Periya Kumarapalayam, Mundu Velampatti, Vadupalayam, Aathukkinathampatti, Sikkanuthu, Muthusamuthiram, Kollu Palayam, Lingam Nayakkanputhur, a part of Sungara Madakku, and a section of Kudimangalam.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions for the seven-hour power interruption. The Electricity Board has stated that the maintenance work is essential to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the power distribution network in the region.
