DMK Student Wing Launches Ambulance Service in Pollachi

Pollachi MP K. Eswaran inaugurated an ambulance service organized by the DMK Student Wing in Pollachi. The service offers free transportation for unclaimed bodies and discounted rates for others.



Coimbatore: The DMK Student Wing in Pollachi has launched an ambulance service, inaugurated by Pollachi Member of Parliament K. Eswaran at the Pollachi Government Headquarters Hospital. The initiative was organized by Sabari Muthuveeran, the Deputy Organizer of the Pollachi City DMK Student Wing.

Following the inauguration, an annadanam (free food distribution) was also conducted at the government hospital. The event saw participation from various DMK officials including Pollachi Municipal Chairperson Syamala Navaneethakrishnan, City Secretary Navaneethakrishnan, Deputy Secretary Dharmaraj, and Municipal Council Member Perumal, along with several DMK Student Wing administrators.



Sabari Muthuveeran, the organizer of the ambulance service, stated that the service would be provided free of charge for transporting unclaimed bodies. For other cases, charges would be levied on a concessional basis. This initiative aims to provide affordable and accessible emergency medical transportation to the residents of Pollachi and its surrounding areas.

The launch of this ambulance service by the DMK Student Wing demonstrates the party's commitment to public welfare and healthcare accessibility. It is expected to significantly benefit the local community, especially those in need of urgent medical transportation but struggling with financial constraints.
