New Superintendent of Police appointed for Coimbatore District

The Tamil Nadu Government has announced a major reshuffle, transferring 24 senior police officers including the Superintendent of Police for Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: In a significant development, the Tamil Nadu Government today announced a major reshuffle within the police department, affecting the leadership in Coimbatore. Badri Narayanan IPS, the current Superintendent of Police in Coimbatore, has been transferred to a new role.

Replacing him is Karthikeyan IPS, who previously served as the Superintendent of Police in Tiruvannamalai district. This change is part of a broader initiative that saw the transfer of 24 senior police officials across various districts in the state. The reshuffle aims to bolster administrative efficiency and enhance law enforcement capabilities throughout Tamil Nadu.
