The rainfall measurements across various locations in the district are as follows: Agricultural University - 15.60 mm, Periyanaickenpalayam - 2 mm, Mettupalayam - 21 mm, Pillur Dam - 13 mm, Annur - 1.40 mm, Coimbatore South - 5.60 mm, Sulur - 9 mm, Varapatti - 6 mm, Thondamuthur - 48 mm, Siruvani Foothills - 85 mm, Madukkarai Taluk - 17 mm, Podanur Railway Station - 15 mm, Pollachi Taluk - 84 mm, Makkinampatti - 19 mm, Kinathukadavu - 19 mm, Anaimalai - 38 mm, Aliyar - 61 mm, Chincona - 232 mm, Chinnakallaru - 239 mm, Valparai PAP - 194 mm, Valparai Taluk - 192 mm, and Solaiyaru - 185 mm.
