Minister Muthuswamy Inspects Site for Relocating Periyar Statue at Coimbatore's Aathupaalam

Minister Muthuswamy, along with District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, inspected the site for relocating Periyar statue at Aathupaalam, Coimbatore on July 26. The inspection aimed to determine a suitable location for the statue's new placement.


Coimbatore: Minister Muthuswamy, accompanied by Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, conducted an inspection on Wednesday (July 26) to assess the site for relocating the statue of Thanthai Periyar currently situated at Aathupaalam in Coimbatore.

The inspection was carried out to identify an appropriate location for repositioning the statue of Thanthai Periyar. The minister and the collector carefully examined the area to determine the most suitable spot for the statue's new placement.



Present during the inspection were several officials and party members, including North District Secretary Tho. A. Ravi, City District Secretary N. Karthik (Ex. MLA), party executives, and administrators of the Aathupaalam Thanthai Periyar Library. Their presence underscored the importance of the relocation process and ensured that various stakeholders were involved in the decision-making.
