Parents of a deceased accident victim have filed a case at the Race Course Police Station suspecting involvement of a broker in shifting their son from the Government Hospital to a Private Hospital for treatment without seeking necessary permissions from the doctors at GH.
Siddharth (19) a 12th standard student is the son of Manimaran, an ex-army man and Shanthi, a government school teacher. Yesterday, night Siddharth took his bike and left to see a friend of his. Unfortunately, Siddharth's motorcycle banged on the central median at Sungam Junction. A critically injured Siddharth was rushed to the Government Hospital through a 108 ambulance.
Siddharth's parents were also intimated about the incident. Shockingly, an unknown person shifted Siddharth from GH to a private hospital in Saibaba Colony. Regarding this, Siddharth himself spoke to his parents on phone and informed that he has been shifted to another private hospital. Before his parents could reach the private hospital, the same unknown person had again shifted Siddharth from the private hospital to the GH.
Unfortunately, Siddharth was declared dead at the GH. Worried parents of Siddharath stood speechless to hear their son's death news. It is reported that when the parents questioned the doctors at GH as to, why his son was shuttled between GH and a private hospital? who is that unknown person? and who gave him the permissions to shift their son?, the doctors did not respond well, alleged the parents.
Hence, Siddharth's parents have filed a case with the Race Course Police Station suspecting the unknown person as a broker who works for commission by referring patients from GH to that private hospital. They also alleged that shuttling their son from one hospital to another has led to his death. Hence, they have urged that the Police should probe the suspicion and take action on the concerned doctors and the unknown person.
