Coimbatore Collector Announces Training Classes for Differently-Abled to Participate in Government Exams

Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati announces special training classes for differently-abled individuals to prepare for government competitive exams, starting August 1, 2024, in Chennai.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati has announced special training classes for differently-abled individuals to encourage their participation in government competitive exams. The initiative aims to help them succeed in examinations conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and other government recruitment boards.

The training program, organized by the Department of Welfare for Differently-Abled Persons, will commence on August 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM. It will be held at CSI School for the Deaf, Santhome High Road, Mylapore, Chennai. The first phase of this special training will cater to 100 differently-abled candidates, providing them with food and accommodation facilities.

Experienced trainers from the Employment and Training Department will conduct these classes. The primary objective is to increase the number of differently-abled individuals succeeding in competitive exams and securing government jobs.

Interested differently-abled candidates from Coimbatore district are encouraged to apply for this training program. Applications should be sent via email to [email protected] before July 29, 2024. Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati urges eligible candidates to make use of this opportunity to enhance their chances of success in government exams.

This initiative reflects the government's commitment to empowering differently-abled individuals and promoting their inclusion in public service. By providing specialized training, the program aims to level the playing field and increase representation of differently-abled persons in government jobs.
