DMK District Secretary Na. Karthik Distributes Membership Cards in Coimbatore

DMK District Secretary Na. Karthik distributed new membership cards to party members in Coimbatore on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, as part of the party's centenary celebrations and diamond jubilee year.


Coimbatore: On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, Coimbatore DMK District Secretary Na. Karthik, ex-MLA, distributed new party membership cards to DMK members in various parts of Coimbatore. This initiative was carried out in accordance with the orders of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, marking the centenary of Kalaignar and the party's diamond jubilee year.



The distribution event took place in three different locations across Coimbatore North Assembly Constituency. At Sai Baba Colony, cards were distributed to ward secretaries of wards 18, 31, 32, and 45 in the presence of K.M. Ravi, the DMK Secretary of Sai Baba Colony area. Ward secretaries N. Kannan, A. Subburaj, Parthiban Babu, and Jayachandran Kutty received the cards.

The event was attended by various party functionaries including E.M. Krishnaraju, Secretary of Velandipalayam area, Councilor Babysudha Ravi, Sivaraman, District Chairman of the Farmers' Wing, and several other ward secretaries and party members.



A similar distribution was held at Ganapathy area for wards 29, 30, 46, and 47. Ward secretaries Ramachandran, Senguttuvan, and Arumugam received the cards in the presence of Kovai Logu, the DMK Secretary of Ganapathy area.



This event saw participation from various party officials including V.D. Senthilkumar, Deputy Secretary of the area, Palanisamy, Speaker, and representatives from the youth wing and IT wing.



The third distribution took place at Maniyakaranpalayam area for wards 19, 20, and 25. Ward secretaries P. Kumar, R. Pugazhendhi, and R. Damodaran received their cards in the presence of Anjugam Palaniappan, the DMK Secretary of Maniyakaranpalayam area. This event was attended by S. Vellingiri, Speaker, M. Nagaraj and Annapoorani, Deputy Secretaries, C.V. Deepa, District Chairman of the Women's Wing, and other party functionaries.



These events mark a significant step in strengthening the DMK's grassroots presence in Coimbatore, with the new membership cards symbolizing the party's commitment to its members and its ongoing centenary celebrations.
