Quemiztry, an annual inter college quiz competition for medical undergraduates, has been extremely popular in the city for the past 3 years. This year, PSG holds the 4th edition of this extravaganza, which has only gotten bigger! In 2014, they had a grand opening with 104 registered teams. This year, Quemiztry has taken a giant leap with 189 registered teams from 25 medical colleges across 5 states of South India. Each team consists of 3 members.
On 23rd April, there will be a rigorous preliminary round in the morning. Out of 189 teams, only 12 will compete in the two legs of the semi-finals, of which 6 teams will enter the finals. One additional team will also have the opportunity of making a wild card entry.
Dr. Sridhar from JIIPMER, will be the Chief Guest of the day. Dr. Meenakshi Sundaram, Assistant Professor in Biochemistry, has been the quiz-master since the inception of Quemiztry. Dr. G. Jeyachandran, along with his team will be organizing the event.
