DMK Youth Wing Celebrates 45th Anniversary in Sulur

DMK Youth Wing, founded by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in 1980, marks its 45th year. Celebrations held at Sulur North Union DMK office with flag hoisting and distribution of sweets.


Coimbatore: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Youth Wing, founded by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in 1980, stepped into its 45th year on July 20. The organization, which has completed 44 years of service, celebrated this milestone with enthusiasm across the state.

In Coimbatore, the anniversary was marked with a special event at the DMK office in Sulur North Union. Thalapathi Murugesan, the DMK Secretary for Coimbatore South District, led the celebrations by hoisting the party flag and distributing sweets to commemorate the occasion.



The event saw the participation of various DMK administrators and party workers who gathered to mark this significant day in the party's history. The celebration underscored the Youth Wing's continued relevance and active role in the party's grassroots activities.

The DMK Youth Wing, since its inception, has been instrumental in engaging young people in politics and social service, aligning with the party's ideologies and vision for Tamil Nadu's development. As it enters its 45th year, the organization looks forward to further strengthening its role in the political landscape of the state.
