During the Ward Inspection today Corporation Commissioner along with officials from Health and sanitation department inspected Ward No:6 pertaining to the West Zone.
The Bio-digester installed at Kamarajar Nagar for converting human wastes into cooking gas was reviewed by the team of the officials. And also, the park site allotted at Gayathri Nagar was also scrutinized and Rs. 60 lakhs has been allotted for development of park at this ward.

Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan, Corporation Commissioner visited a few residential colonies at this ward and sensitized the residents to keep their premise clean at all times. He also urged the residents on green wastes and segregation of wastes at source.

Deputy Commissioner, P. Gandhimathi, West Zone Assistant Corporation Commissioner, Ramaiah, City welfare Officer, Maru. Santhoshkumar and City engineers were present during the inspection.
