Vishva Hindu Parishad lodged a complaint at R.S. Puram Police Station against Pastor Prince Calvin of CSI Immanuel Church for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Hinduism during a recent event in Coimbatore.

Coimbatore: The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) filed a complaint at the R.S. Puram Police Station on July 4 against Pastor Prince Calvin of CSI Immanuel Church in Coimbatore, accusing him of making derogatory remarks about Hinduism.

According to the complaint, during an event held at CSI Immanuel Church on Sunday, June 16, 2024, Pastor Prince Calvin allegedly made disparaging comments about Hindu beliefs and practices. A video of the pastor's speech has since gone viral on social media platforms.

The VHP representatives stated in their complaint that they believe the pastor deliberately made these statements, knowing that such actions could lead to unnecessary tensions and spread religious animosity.
