Coimbatore Kidney Center & Specialty Hospitals is all set to unveil their one-of-a-kind matrimonial site for cured blood cancer patients. Eminent public speaker S Raja will kick start the matrimonial website on the 21st of April.
“In children, blood cancer is 80-90% curable, while in adults it is slightly more difficult to do so. Many people struggle to afford even the 1st stage of blood cancer treatment. Babies who are affected by Thalassemia need to have a blood transfusion every month. Even then their lifespan is only about 30 years. When people are affected by blood cancer at a marriageable age, they find it difficult to find a partner. Even those patients who have been cured of blood cancer face many matrimonial issues” stated Sudhandhira Kannan, a blood cancer specialist.
