Jio Announces Mobile Recharge Tariff Increase Nationwide

Jio Telecom has announced an increase in mobile recharge tariffs ranging from 12% to 25%, effective from July 3. This hike applies to various plans including the popular monthly and quarterly 1.5 GB data plans.


Coimbatore: In a recent development that affects mobile phone users across the nation, Jio Telecom has officially declared a hike in its recharge tariffs. The tariffs, depending on the plan, will see an increase ranging from 12% to 25%.


The monthly 1.5 GB data plan, previously priced at Rs. 239, will now cost Rs. 299. Similarly, the quarterly 1.5 GB data plan will jump from Rs. 666 to Rs. 799. This new pricing structure is set to go into effect starting July 3, as per the announcement from Jio. The move is projected to impact a significant number of users who rely on Jio for their mobile telecommunications services.
