In Coimbatore, auto driver Madanraj was arrested on June 19 for attempting to set fire to his father-in-law's house in RS Puram during an ongoing family dispute.

Coimbatore: A family dispute turned violent in RS Puram, Coimbatore, leading to a severe incident involving auto driver Madanraj, who attempted to set his in-laws' house on fire. 60-year-old Radhakrishnan, also an auto driver and a resident of Meenakshi Nagar, has been frequently embroiled in disputes with his son-in-law, Madanraj, who hails from Vedapatti VDS Nagar. The tensions between Madanraj and his wife, which had previously escalated to the courts with ongoing divorce proceedings, peaked when Madanraj, in a fit of rage, poured petrol on Radhakrishnan's house on June 17. Following the altercation, Madanraj's wife filed a complaint at the Thondamuthur police station.
