Theft at a Grocery Store Near Palladam Under Police Investigation

A robbery incident occurred at a private grocery store in the Vanjipalayam area near Palladam, Tiruppur, with the police currently investigating based on CCTV footage.


Coimbatore: In a startling incident near Palladam, a private grocery store in the Vanjipalayam area was the target of a burglary. The store, owned by a local named Raja, witnessed a significant money theft. Raja had locked up his shop at around 10 pm on the 17th and returned home. The next morning, he discovered the shutter of his shop forcibly opened and immediately sensed trouble.



Upon entering, he found the cash missing from the safe. Shocked by the discovery, Raja informed the police, who initiated an investigation. Based on the available CCTV footage, police are tracing potential suspects. It was found that approximately Rs. 30,000 had been stolen from the store. The investigation is ongoing, and details are awaited as the police scrutinize further evidence to apprehend the culprit.
