Alliance Leaders to Decide on Contesting in Vikravandi By-election, Says GK Vasan in Coimbatore

GK Vasan, leader of the Tamil Maanila Congress, spoke at Coimbatore Airport, discussing the central government's effectiveness, the Vikravandi by-election, and NEET exams' impact on Tamil Nadu's middle-class students.


Coimbatore: During a press interaction at Coimbatore Airport, Tamil Maanila Congress leader GK Vasan spoke about the ongoing development and security enhancements under the central government, declaring it key to transforming India into a global powerhouse. He praised the government's selection of skilled individuals to lead various sectors, ensuring democratic governance in line with electoral mandates.


GK Vasan also touched on the forthcoming Vikravandi by-election, stating that the decision to contest will be made by the leaders of the National Democratic Alliance, ensuring a collective approach to leadership decisions in the electoral process.


Addressing the NEET exams, Vasan highlighted the commendable performance of Tamil Nadu’s economically disadvantaged students, who have increasingly been competing on equal footing with students from other states. He concluded his talk by urging the government to keep education away from political influences and to avoid confusing students and parents regarding educational policies and practices.
