Coimbatore: The St. Anthony's Church on Mettupalayam-Ooty Road began its annual chariot festival with a flag hoisting ceremony held this morning.



The event kicked off at 10 AM with Treasurer Anthony Selvaraj hoisting the flag and delivering a special address to the congregants.

The festival, anticipated to bring in numerous participants, is geared up for the main chariot procession, scheduled on June 16. The arrangers of this revered event include Priest Henry Lawrence, several nuns and committee groups, along with the church community, all working together to manage the arrangements seamlessly.
