Road Traffic Rerouted in Coimbatore Due to Burst Water Pipeline Near KG Hospital Court Complex

In Coimbatore, a burst water pipeline near the KG Hospital Court Complex on Arts College Road resulted in a sinkhole, causing waterlogging and disrupting traffic.

Coimbatore: Road traffic has been rerouted in Coimbatore following a burst water pipeline near the KG Hospital Court Complex.

The incident occurred on the connecting road to Arts College Road, where a sinkhole developed suddenly, leading to extensive water accumulation. The municipal authorities and traffic police were quick to respond, diverting traffic and initiating repair works on the damaged pipeline.

This traffic disruption comes amidst ongoing road excavations in various parts of the city for sewer, water pipeline, and electrical connection works.

A similar incident had occurred recently in front of the Coimbatore Commissioner's office where maintenance work on a sewer line led to further complications, obstructing the flow in the nearby water pipelines.

Due to these repetitive pipe damages and blockages, municipal officials are now actively working to rectify the affected areas, with traffic police assisting in managing road use during the repairs.
