Kangayam Student Scores 687 in NEET Watching YouTube-based Tutorials

Sanjay from Kangayam, Tiruppur District, achieved 687 marks in NEET by self-studying through YouTube, without attending any coaching centers, in his very first attempt.

Coimbatore: In a remarkable display of self-driven education, Sanjay, a student from a government-aided school in Kulampalayam near Kangayam, Tiruppur District, scored an impressive 687 out of 720 in the NEET examination. He achieved this feat by solely using YouTube videos for his preparations.

He mentioned the vital support he received from his father Ramesh, who runs a rice shop, and his learning was done apart from the regular school at Shanthi Niketan High School during his senior years. Sanjay emphasized his keen interest in medicine and said, "Despite the standard coaching option, I chose to prepare on my own through YouTube, which turned out to be highly effective." Supported by his teachers, friends, and parents, Sanjay’s hard work and determination paid off as he excelled in his very first attempt amidst 2.5 million other candidates nationally. "This success is attributed to everyone who encouraged me, and I hope my approach serves as an example for future aspirants to persist and succeed," Sanjay added.
