New Online Application Portal Announced for Tribal Students' Post-Matric Scholarship

Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati announces a new online portal for tribal students to apply for post-matric scholarships. Applications are open for the academic year 2024-2025.



Coimbatore: Kranthi Kumar Pati, the Coimbatore District Collector, has released a statement regarding the ongoing provision of post-matric educational aid to tribal students through the Directorate of Tribal Welfare. A new initiative under the Union Government's Ministry of Tribal Affairs now aims to extend educational scholarships to tribal students selected for advanced degrees like Ph.D and doctoral research under the National Overseas Scholarship Scheme (NOS) for the academic year 2024-2025.

Tribal students interested in pursuing studies abroad under this scheme can now apply online through https://overseas.tribal.gov.in/. The last date to submit applications is May 31, 2024. For more details on the application process, students can visit the ministry's official portal at https://overseas.tribal.gov.in/.
