Grand Wedding Ceremony at Then Tirupati Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple

A grand wedding ceremony took place at the renowned Then Tirupati Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple, Mettupalayam near Coimbatore on May 17, starting early morning with Suprabhatam.


Coimbatore: The famed Then Tirupati Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple located near Mettupalayam, Coimbatore, commenced its celebrated Sri Padmavathi Srinivasa marriage festival early on May 17 with the chanting of Suprabhatam.



Following the initial rituals at the temple’s mandapa, a special pooja was held at the Yagasala. After the pooja, the deities Sri Venkateswara Swami along with Sridevi and Bhudevi were elaborately adorned with vibrant flowers and the matrimonial ceremony was conducted with great fanfare. Numerous devotees participated in the festivities, making it a memorable event.
