Coimbatore: In a recent announcement by the railway department, a special train service will be initiated between Bangalore and Kerala through Coimbatore on April 25 and 26. The special train, numbered 06549, is set to depart from Bangalore at 3:50 pm on April 25. It will travel through Salem at 8:03 pm, Erode at 9:03 pm, Tirupur at 9:48 pm, and reach Coimbatore by 10:53 pm the same night. The train will continue its journey the following day, reaching Kochuveli station in Kerala by 7:00 am on April 26.
Following a brief stop, the train will depart from Kochuveli at 8:00 am and is expected to arrive back at Coimbatore station by 4:20 pm the same day. This special service aims to ease the travel for passengers during this period and ensure a smooth transit between the two states through Coimbatore.
