The voting activity began early, especially in anticipation of the predicted hot weather which encouraged voters to turn out in the morning hours to avoid the heat.

In Divansapudur Government Higher Secondary School, a polling station near Pollachi, AIADMK candidate Karthikeyan cast his vote. In a special initiative to encourage democratic participation among the youth, first-time voters at this location were greeted with saplings as a welcome gesture. This act not only honored their first vote but also aimed to promote environmental consciousness among the new electorate. Eager young voters fulfilled their democratic duty with enthusiasm, contributing to the higher early voter turnout observed.
