Minister Udhayanidhi campaigned in Singanallur, Coimbatore, highlighting DMK's schemes, including the free bus travel and school meal programs, and gathered support for DMK candidate Ganapathi Rajkumar.
Coimbatore: Minister Udhayanidhi, campaigning in Singanallur region of Coimbatore for DMK's parliamentary candidate Ganapathi Rajkumar, emphasized the success of several state-led initiatives under the DMK administration on April 17. He specifically highlighted the free bus travel scheme for women that has facilitated over 27 crore travels, saving up to ₹900 per month per woman. The 'Pudhumai Penn' (Innovative Woman) scheme helps 14,000 female students from government schools in Coimbatore receive ₹1,000 monthly towards their college education. Additionally, under the Chief Minister's breakfast program, around 80,000 students from primary schools in Coimbatore district are receiving nutritious meals daily.

Furthermore, Minister Udhayanidhi assured that women eligible yet not benefiting from specific entitlements would receive due benefits within the next five months. He called on the residents of Coimbatore to deliver at least a 400,000 vote majority for Ganapathi Rajkumar, reflecting the DMK's robust return in the area after a decade.

With a strong plea for continued support towards DMK in the upcoming elections, the Minister's campaign is set to energize the party's base and possibly sway undecided voters in the region.
