Coimbatore: On Mettupalayam Road, near the Sai Baba Temple area, a mosque became the center of communal harmony and celebration as thousands of Muslims came together for special Ramadan prayers on April 11. The gathering, marked by its sheer number and the spirit of unity, saw participants engaging in prayers, followed by exchanges of hugs and distribution of sweets among each other. This event underlined the essence of Ramadan - fostering goodwill, sharing joy, and community bonding.

Post-prayer, the air was filled with the warmth of communal greetings and happiness, as the attendees shared sweets, symbolizing the spreading of love and brotherhood characteristic of the holy month.
