MP A. Raja Provides Financial Assistance to Bereaved Family in Periyanaickenpalayam accident, Initiates Development Projects

Nilgiris MP A. Raja extends INR 2 lakhs financial aid to the family of Ashok Kumar and Sarvanth, who died in a road accident in near Periyanaickenpalayam. Additionally, he promises government job support and inaugurates development projects worth INR 1.09 crores.


Coimbatore: In a heartfelt support gesture, Nilgiris MP A. Raja has extended financial assistance of INR 2 lakhs to the bereaved family of Ashok Kumar and his son Sarvanth, who tragically lost their lives in a road accident in Coimbatore's GudalurMunicipality. The fatal incident, which took place near Periyanayakanpalayam on the 12th, also left Ashok Kumar's wife injured.

Meeting the family personally, MP A. Raja conveyed his condolences and handed over the financial aid, also assuring them of further support through government employment. This act of kindness was part of Raja's visit to Coimbatore, where he also initiated several development projects valued at INR 1.09 crores in the Veerapandi division of the Koodalur area, marking the commencement with a groundbreaking ceremony.



The event saw the presence of Koodalur Municipality Chairman Arivarasu, Vice Chairman Rathi Rajendran, Chief Executive Committee Member Shanmugasundaram, Union Secretary Surendran, city councillors, and party officials. They all stood in solidarity with the family, reflecting the community's support during their time of loss.
