Car Overturns Near Coimbatore City Police Commissioner's Office in Accident

Yesterday, a car lost control and overturned near the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner's office. Three farmers from Karumathampatti were involved in the accident but fortunately escaped without injuries.


Coimbatore: A car carrying three farmers from Karumathampatti overturned yesterday (February 19, 2024) in a dramatic accident near the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner's office. The farmers were returning to Karumathampatti after their visit to the Integrated Court in Coimbatore when their vehicle lost control at a curve close to the police commissioner's office, hitting the road barrier and overturning.

Witnesses at the scene promptly rescued the three individuals trapped inside the vehicle. Miraculously, all three escaped unharmed from the incident. Following the accident, the public and police worked together to move the car to the side of the road, causing temporary traffic disruption in the area.

The Traffic Investigation Wing of the Police is currently conducting an inquiry into the accident to ascertain the cause and any possible negligence.
