In the grand finale of the ONGC and Chattisgarh team lifts winning trophy at the 31st Federation Cup National Basketball Championship, in the men's category ONGC won the finals and in the Women's Category, team Chattisgarh won the finals.
The five-day national basket ball tournament was held in the PSG institute and today at the much-awaited grand finale, in Men's category, ONGC team played against the Indian Overseas team. The match was tight till the end, the ONGC won in a 3 point difference scoring 55 points and Indian Overseas scoring 52 points. Amrithpal Singh and Vishesh scored each 17 points and contributed to the teams's victory.

In the Women's category, Chattisgarh team played against Southern Railways and won in a difference of 10 points. Chattisgarh scored 77 points and Southern Railways scored 67 points. Poonam Chaturvedi and Saranjith Kaur were the key players from the Chattisgarh team scoring 28 and 27 points respectively.

Commissioner of Income Tax, Selva Ganesh distributed the prizes and certificates to the winners. Rs. 1 lakh along with winning trophy was distributed to the ONGC and Chattisgarh team. The runner up team was given a prize money of RS. 50,000 and a trophy.
Founder of Arise Foundation and Chairman of 31st Federation Cup National Basketball Championship, Amrit Arjun and Chander Mukhi Sharma , General Secretary of Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and other dignitaries were present during the valedictory function.
