MP A Raja and Ministers take part in Nilgiris District Review Meeting on Building Permit Processes and Unauthorized Developments

The Nilgiris district held a review meeting led by the Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Prohibition and Excise, S. Muthusamy, to discuss procedures related to building permits and unauthorized development works.

A significant review meeting was held in Nilgiris District, presided over by the Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Prohibition and Excise, Mr. S. Muthusamy. The meeting focused on the processes involved in granting building permits and the issue of unauthorized development works within the district.







The meeting saw the participation of key figures including Nilgiris Lok Sabha Member Mr. A. Raja, Tourism Minister Mr. K. Ramachandran, Nilgiris District Collector Ms. J. Innocent Divya, IAS, and officials from various departments.

The agenda was to ensure that the procedures for obtaining building permits are streamlined and effective in curtailing unauthorized constructions, thereby promoting orderly development in the district. The gathering aimed to address concerns, share insights, and lay down strategies for improved governance in the realm of housing and urban development in Nilgiris.
