Acting tough on the property tax defaulters, Corporation has so far terminated 809 water connections of tax defaulters from 26.10.2016 to 24.03.2017 in all five zones.
'These defaulters paid no heed to the warning notices and reminders sent to them from the Corporation regarding non-payment of their property tax. Hence, water connection has been terminated. Properties of those defaulters will attract confiscation, if their dues remain uncleared, said Corporation Commissioner', Dr.K. Vijayakarthikeyan.
